Are you ready to become a Space Explorer for the day? What's it like to discover a new planet? Is it time to join the Funzing Space Agency? Join Professor Amelie Saintonge for a fact-filled, fun morning of Space Exploration at LANDOR_SPACE.

It’s science in action in this all-ages interactive workshop! Ever wondered what it would be like to work for the Space Agency and have a hand at designing the next mission to explore a distant planet? In this workshop, you will take on the role of a mission scientist, planetary astronomer, astrobiologist, aerospace engineer or flight specialist, and we will all work as a team at the Space Agency to design a mission to explore a new planet.

In the process, we will learn about how astronomers discover planets around stars throughout our galaxy, what these distant worlds might look like, and how we might even find signs of life. The activity will also give budding scientists a sense of how science really works and the countless ways to get involved. No previous experience required, just curiosity and creativity!

Venue: Landor Space, Clapham
