CLIFF EDITIONS

WEDNESDAY 24TH APRIL 2024
7:30 PM

Join us for the inaugural CIFF Editions. This is a new regular film screening event where some exceptional filmmakers will screen their work, answer some questions and then do some networking.

We're excited to be screening work by Lily Rose Thomas, Charlotte Hamblin, Anthony Riach, Soph Webberley and Andrew Harmer.

All this is taking place upstairs at the Landor, moments away from Clapham North station, and we're looking forward to bringing the Clapham film community together for a particularly interesting evening.

If you're lost, please email tickets@ciff.uk to get found.

Three generations of women reckon with their relationship with alcohol - and each-other.

Blind Spot
Director: Soph Webberley

In this coming-of-age parable, an overconfident father imparts his unfounded wisdom on his sulking teenage daughter as they drive around the city.

Making Ends Meat
Director: Andrew Harmer

London, 2030. Rising costs and global food shortages have made meat only available to the ultra rich. Meanwhile, teachers remain underpaid and disrespected. During one of their grading games, Joe, a young educator at the Thatcher Academy, discovers that Marion, his only kin there, manages to live over the poverty threshold thanks to a somewhat questionable side business. Will he join her?

Not A Mourning Person
Director: Anthony Riach

Fresh from a night out at yesterdays wake, 'Rent A Mourner' Charlie turns up to a funeral late, tired, and hungover. Another day at the office. But when the 'mourning' takes an unexpected turn, she must come face to face with a deeply buried secret from the past.
